Black + White...

I tried to finish that title off with a kicky rhyme, but I'm not feeling very clever this morning. "Black + White" is as good as it's gonna get.

So, I'm still very much on my fashion kick these days (will get back to interiors, exteriors, gardening, etc., soon I'm sure) but for now...más y más fashion!

Last night was the Metropolitan Museum's Costume Institute Gala in New York. There were many glittery, colorful, super fem gowns, but I've decided to highlight those from the black and white camp today that edged on the side of tomboy. My favs below:

So, what do you think of these gowns? Are they working for you?

How beautiful! The silhouettes and tailoring are seamless- makes an otherwise eccentric tie easy to understand and appreciate!

And how about that mad spider-webbing effect on Christina Ricci's gown? It's so delicate yet so badass simultaneously!
