So here's the deal, I became a graphic designer because I loved print. (I'm that old.) Printed materials of any kind from any era, in any style, as long as they were well-designed, I was captivated. I still am. Even in the incredible digital age we are lucky enough to live in today, I still nerd out pretty hard when I see a vintage postcard at an antique shop with elegant typography. Or when an especially thoughtful catalog arrives in the mail. Through the magic of Pinterest I discovered MatterPrinted, which is a tumblr of magazine and book covers. How perfect that a revolution from the digital world led me to this special collection of the printed world, yes?
